This weekend at the campus of The Ohio State University athletes from all over the state will gather to compete and test their skills. And while they might be contending for a metal of 1st 2nd or 3rd place the true completion is within themselves to just participate. The motto for Special Olympic athletes is: Let me win, but if I cannot win let me be brave in the attempt.

So, this weekend over 2,000 athletes will run, throw, lift and participate in a variety of team sports. They will make new friend and renew acquaintances, push themselves to make new personal records and show the world that being special is just a different kind of normal.
Stop by OSU and enjoy a special weekend.
