The Columbus Arts Festival celebrates its 57th year of bringing the best in fine art and fine craft to Columbus on June 8, 9 and 10, 2018. The Festival has been rated by AmericanStyle and Sunshine Artist magazines as one of the top festivals in the nation and each year hosts hundreds of juried artists from across the United States, as well as several international artists. Performance stages featuring music, dance, theater and spoken word can be found throughout the festival, and hands-on arts activities, work by local artist collectives and a wide selection of quality food and beverages round out Columbus’ favorite outdoor summer event. – Columbus Arts Festival news release
Having visited the arts fest since the 80’s I’ve found it to be something for everyone each year. Always fun and interesting for everyone in the family. Stop by the local arts tent and watch a creation evolve. Way too much food for one person and a nice walk around the downtown riverfront to include Bicentennial Park and Genoa Park, both on the Scioto River. Here is a MAP of the festival.
Have fun, drink plenty of fluids and carry something to keep dry with – it’s Ohio, weather changes on a whim.
