We built the Website to Highlight all the great and Unique things Ohio has to offer, we are constantly looking for more of the "off the beaten path" places that are Unique to that particular city and our wonderful state. We will be constantly adding to the website.
It amazes me every time I hear someone say that there is nothing to do in Ohio. Our state is Rich in History and there is something unique in every town I have visited and with our current economey and gas prices it is a great time to get to know your hometown. If your from out of state visiting, I hope you find the site helpful to find the normal attractions but also the less known you wont find anywhere else.
I hope you enjoy our site and take something from it and most of all, appreciate Ohio a little more, hopefully enough to spend some of your vacation money right here in the great Buckeye State.

      El Sombrero Restaurant

 El Sombrero is the best Mexican Restaurant I have ever had the pleasure of dining at. Dinner starts with Fresh tortilla chips and homemade salsa that I have never experienced anywhere else.  Don’t let the low prices fool you, not only will it be one of the best meals you ever have, most likely you will be taking some home for later.

  I grew up in Miami County but in July of 2008 I moved to Fairfield County, Every time I go home I have to go to my favorite restaurant. Not only is it my favorite Restaurant but it is my families favorite. Ruben Pelayo, the owner is one of the nicest gentlemen I have ever met, I think every time I have eaten at the Troy location he has been there, I have seen him cleaning tables, taking orders and bringing out food but it doesn’t stop him from taking a moment to say hello to his customers.

 I have been eating at El Sombrero for over ten years now and I can honestly say I have never had a bad meal or service; it is a friendly, casual Restaurant where you always feel welcome.

 There are two locations In Miami County, one in Troy and the other being in Piqua and from my understanding, Ruben runs the Troy location and his Wife runs the Piqua location. If you ever find yourself in Miami County, stop in and enjoy a nice meal at one of their locations, I promise you won't be disapointed!
